**Lab Technician**

**Location: Folkestone**

**Salary: Depending on experience**

**Working hours: Part time - 3 days per week ( 24 hours per week) - No Sundays and working 1 in 3 Saturdays.**

**Experience level: Must have experience working in an optical lab**

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customer’s spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

- Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
- Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
- Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
- Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
