**Job Role**:

- To carry out inspections of all streets and footways during and/or following works, monitoring compliance with specifications and codes of practice for signing and guarding, safety, and standard of reinstatement.
- To collect evidence in respect of offences committed under the Traffic Management Act 2004, NRSWA, Highways Act 1980 and Health and Safety at Work legislation, preparing statements and reporting offences to the Street Works Manager to facilitate the issue of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs).
- To ensure that works undertaken by statutory undertakers meet the requirements of Thurrock Permit Scheme and provide advice to statutory undertakers, reporting non-compliance to the Street Works Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
