Position: Team Leader

£30,000 - £40,000 pa

Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham

**Job Description**:
The Fire and Flood Team Leader will oversee and manage a team of fire and flood restoration technicians. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of restoration projects and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Team Leader will play a crucial role in coordinating team activities, providing guidance and support, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of fire and flood restoration technicians.

Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure excellent performance and project completion.

Assign tasks and set project goals for each team member.

Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork.

Project Coordination:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan and allocate resources for restoration projects.

Ensure the availability of necessary equipment, tools, and materials for the team.

Monitor project progress and address any potential obstacles or delays.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Handle any ad hoc requirements or changes requested by the business.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure restoration projects adhere to industry regulations, company standards, and client requirements.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Identify and address any issues or concerns related to project quality, safety, or customer satisfaction.

Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and maintain consistent quality outcomes.

Customer Service:
Interact with customers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Strive for complete customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project.

Training and Development:
Identify training needs of team members and coordinate with the Operations Manager to arrange appropriate training sessions.

Provide on-the-job training to new team members and assist in their integration into the team and company culture.

Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging professional growth and development.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in the fire and flood restoration industry or a related field.

Sound knowledge of restoration techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Proficient in using project management software and tools.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Valid driver's license.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
