**Position: P.E Coach & Pastoral lead**
**Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire**
**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time**
**Salary Details: £28,000 per annum.**

- A range of National Governing Body sporting qualifications.
- Experience working as a sports coach, being able to recognise what high quality sports practice looks like.
- Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
- Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours & SEMH.
- Knowledge of some of the social issues facing children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Awareness of Health and Safety issues in the workplace.
- Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment.
- Supporting the learning of children.
- Good ICT skills or willingness to learn on developing ICT skills.
- Competent literacy and numeracy skills.

Cambian Northampton School is an independent specialist provision that provides quality and personalised education for young people ranging from ages 11 to 16 with on-going social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
