**Role Profile**

As a successful Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders. We receive a constant stream of orders from customers, ranging from a handful of fasteners, all the way through to multiple pallets. Every order is different, but requires the same level of attention-to-detail to ensure customers receive the specific items they ordered. This is especially important as fasteners are safety critical: they hold everything in the world together

Your day-to-day will involve reading customer orders, identifying the correct items to pick in our warehouse, packing into bags & boxes, and despatching packages to customers around the world. You will also share responsibility for general warehouse tasks such as keeping everything clean, tidy, and safe.

This is a customer-facing role, and as such you will be committed to providing exceptional service to our customers at all times.

**Responsibilities**
- Review customer order paperwork / packing list to ensure full understanding of customer requirements
- Pick items from correct locations within warehouse
- Assess item picked to ensure compliance with customer order (material / item / size)
- Pack items appropriately into boxes or bags
- Label items accurately
- Book out customer orders using our order processing system
- Package items for despatch via our driver or couriers
- Handle goods inwards arrivals
- Return items from packing or goods inwards back into stock
- Ensure warehouse is clean, tidy, and safe at all times
