**Location**: Glasgow, Kinning Park, Scotland
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
**Salary**: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

We are now looking for a skilled and dedicated Installations Engineer/ Team Lead who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work with our team in our workshop in Kinning Park
- Previous experience in the installation/ maintenance of refrigerated units within commercial vehicles is preferred
- Or will have a mechanical background with the ability to learn quickly
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a workshop environment
- Good working knowledge of parts relating to refrigeration and ancillary vehicle equipment industry would be advantageous
- Will be familiar with brands such as Eberspacher, Webasto, GAH and Hubbard
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
**Key Responsibilities**
The overall purpose of the role is to carry out general maintenance and repair work on a range of new & used Commercial vehicles to a high standard. This will form within our standards of service. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
- Team Leadership _
- Be responsible for overseeing all activities within our busy workshop including workflow management & resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety standards at all times.
- Optimize workshop efficiency & productivity through effective planning & organisation working alongside the office scheduling team.
- Lead, motivate and mentor the team of Installation engineers and apprentices and other engineers
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project demands and optimize resource utilization
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to minimize waste and maintain adequate supplies.
- Carrying out any other reasonable task which may arise
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Advising Management of any improvements to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
- Installations_
- Ability to fully install new refrigeration units to various commercial vehicles.
- Ability to fully install a variety of temperature control units such as diesel heaters into vehicles
- Working with mechanical and electrical components
- Health & Safety awareness
- Use of hand and power tools
**Eligibility**:
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the UK and currently reside in the UK.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
