We are seeking to appoint a full time locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine for 6 months to join an enthusiastic and committed team providing support to patients within Liverpool and South Sefton. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support the development and delivery of our newly integrated services across the south of the city. The services across Liverpool have undergone complete transformation following the merger of Aintree and the Royal Liverpool hospitals, the transfer of clinical services from Woodlands Hospice into LUHFT, and the local re-modelling of palliative care services in 2020 to form the Integrated Mersey Palliative Care Team (IMPaCT). The post holder will be employed by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and will support the delivery of the in-patient and hospital specialist palliative care services at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital NHS.

Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register and have their CCT in Palliative Medicine or be within six months of obtaining it by the interview date. Full Registration and Licensing with the GMC is essential. Full job description and job plan attached
