Birmingham, United Kingdom AECOM Full time

Company Description

At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world.

We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Whether it’s improving your commute, keeping the lights on, providing access to clean water or transforming skylines, our work helps people and communities thrive.

Our clients trust us to bring together the best people, ideas, technical expertise and digital solutions to our work in transportation, buildings, water, the environment and new energy. We’re one global team - 47,000 strong - driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.

Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.

**Job Description**:
Whether you prefer a balance of field work and office work, or you’re just interested in managing and developing our ECoW service offering, we can give you the platform to develop new skills and achieve your goals. We have fantastic opportunities to further your career within an established and successful business that has welfare and wellbeing as core values.

Our Ecology Team comprises over 160 ecologists based across the UK&I and our teams enjoy the benefits and security of a large corporation, but we work as a small close-knit Ecology Consultancy. We have mentors within the team who provide support at a personal level and guide the development of skills and experience. There is a programme of internal training courses and a budget for external training aligned to your professional development goals. To support you in your Senior ECoW role we offer a development programme covering essential and advanced technical and safety accreditations and a carefully designed career path.

AECOM has a Freedom to Grow policy that celebrates flexible working; if you are interested in joining us, we should be happy to discuss a working arrangement to suit you.

In AECOM, the value of diversity and inclusion is readily apparent in creating a collaborative, supportive working environment and in delivering a massive range of projects. It is very important to both what we do and the way we do it. We welcome applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. The important thing for us is that you can demonstrate that you can effectively fulfil the needs of the role. If you feel you can, but there are other factors that are making you hesitant in applying, we would still like to hear from you and see if we can work together to overcome any challenges.

At AECOM you can go as far as your ability and desire will take you. It’s about your interests and passions. It’s about the experiences you bring with you and, it’s about your personal goals and aspirations. We provide you with the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse workforce of highly talented professionals on both regional and national projects that impact our world for the better - and to gain relevant experience which will be of significant benefit to you in your future career.
