**Job Title**:Fabricator

**Department**:Production/Factory

**Responsible to**:Production Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**

To fabricate and assemble metal products, develops layouts and plans sequence of operation

To be competent reading engineering drawings

To set up and operate fabricating machines

Cutting, shaping and bending Carbon/Stainless Steel

Ensure that the company health and safety measures are adhered to

Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained within the work area

Minimise the wastage of materials and consumables

There may be other duties you are asked to perform in factory if there is no fabricating work

**Skills/Qualifications**

Proven background in Fabrication, preferably with a qualification or a recognised apprenticeship

Have a knowledge and relevant experience of working in the engineering and manufacturing sector (**essential**)

Be flexible and work overtime if needed.

Ability to work under mínimal supervision towards achieving strict deadlines

The role will be 37 hours per week with overtime as an option.

Mon - Thurs 06:00 - 14:30pm

Fri - 06:00 - 11:00

Personal Protective Equipment will be provided, such as Steel-toe capped boots, ear defenders, safety glasses and gloves.
