Golcar J I & N School is a popular school within the Colne Valley with 441 children currently on roll. We provide a positive, nurturing and inspiring learning environment where everyone is encouraged
and supported to achieve their goals. Our children are keen to learn, are well behaved and want to achieve their best.

Mrs Masters, our Caretaker of 26 years has decided to take retirement. We wish to appoint someone to join our friendly, caring and hardworking team. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and caring person to join our school.
- Take pride in their work and school.
- Be a personable and professional face of the school.
- Can carry out day to day maintenance, repairs and decorating jobs.
- Have experience scheduling and working with external contractors.
- Have experience in managing statutory requirements (legionella testing, fire safety equipment etc).
- Can contribute to and help us achieve our goals in improving our site.
- Will assist in the completion of regular health and safety inspections and rectify any issues that may arise.
- Can assist in managing lettings.
- Brings new ideas to the school to improve our processes.
- Brings a proactive approach to their work.
- Can carry out outdoor improvement works.
- Can use IT to record compliance and manage outstanding tasks.
