Job role: CNC Miller & Tool Setter

**Salary**: £30,000-£35,000 DoE

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: 7:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 7:30 to 13:30 on a Friday

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Holiday: 33 days including Bank Holidays

Overtime: Time 1/3

The Company:
Interaction have partnered with a leading precision engineering firm specialising in the aerospace, automotive and motorsport industries based in Wellingborough on their search for an experienced CNC Tool Setter and Miller to join their busy team.

The Benefits:

The Role:

- You will set the tools to lengths and tolerances set by the programmer in the milling section.
- You will use Nikken, Haimer and Bilz machinery to set the tools.
- You will set and operate multi axis Haas and Matsurra machinery, using Fanuc controls.
- This position will be varied, with 3/5 days in the tool room and 2/5 days based on the shop floor setting and operating milling machinery.
- You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
- You will join the busy Milling section and be extremely important to the running of the team

The Requirements:

- Previous experience as a CNC Miller and/or Tool Setter (essential)
- Proven ability to set and operate multi-axis CNC machinery (essential)
- Apprentice Trained (advantageous)
- Experience using Haas and/or Matsurra milling machinery (advantageous)
- Experience using Nikken, Haimer and/or Bilz machinery (advantageous)
- High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated
