We’re looking for a** Content Lead **to join our** Social Team**
**The Opportunity**
This opportunity is working internally for one of our portfolio brands, a decentralised web3 crypto wallet, with the mission to empower individuals to securely manage their digital assets and participate in the growing decentralised economy.
In-depth knowledge of DeFi and web3 focused social media platforms, particularly Discord, Telegram, and Twitter, is essential. Being comfortable and knowledgeable in discussing DeFi protocols, blockchain, and web3 is crucial as a significant part of the role involves engaging our DeFi audience with product updates, help, guidance, and marketing messaging.
**Your Responsibilities**
**Execution and Ownership**
- Lead the overall direction, creation, and execution of content across various social media channels including: Discord, Telegram and Twitter
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our brand visibility, engagement and brand loyalty.
- Utilise your in-depth understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithms to optimise content performance and engagement.
- Lead the creation of a social media calendar, ensuring relevant content aligns with marketing objectives and brand identity.
**Research and Delivery**
- Utilise your in-depth sector knowledge and experience in DeFi, crypto, trading, and blockchain to create engaging and relevant content.
- Stay ahead of the market and upcoming events relevant to the sector, incorporating them into the content strategy when appropriate.
- Analyse social media performance metrics, provide insights, and make recommendations to optimise engagement and reach.
**Operations and Communications**
- Manage social executives responsible for community management and moderation.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual assets align with the brand's tone, style, and culture.
- Collaborate with the CMO, Creative Lead, and Head of Operations to create campaigns for partnerships.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions.
**Desirable Skills and Experience**:
- **Airdrop Marketing Expertise**: Experience in orchestrating airdrop campaigns will be highly beneficial. Knowledge in leveraging airdrops for user acquisition, retention, and overall brand engagement could be a key element to excel in this role.

- A strong understanding of the DeFi landscape including a high-level grasp of the mechanics of various DeFi protocols
- Excellent communication skills & significant experience working with cross-functional teams to collaborate on initiatives
- Passionate storyteller with a broad understanding of how to communicate with diverse audiences within different geographical locations globally to articulate our value proposition in a compelling way
- Data-driven, fast-learning, flexible doer, who requires little day-to-day handholding
- Ability to create & modify basic visual content such as infographics & memes to be included in marketing material.
- An existing portfolio with successfully marketed projects and/or published content.
- Ability to contribute in areas outside of marketing such as business development and market research.
