Are you interested in being part of the Physiotherapy Team at The Mid Argyll Hospital and Integrated Care Centre? We are looking for a dynamic clinician, with highly developed and specialised musculoskeletal skills, to join our team.
The successful applicant will work as part of an Integrated Team to provide highly specialist MSK physiotherapy assessment and treatments within the hospital and the wider community. You should be able to exhibit clinical leadership qualities and enjoy working in close association with peers, and colleagues.
The challenge for the post holder will be to work flexibly across MSK out-patients, maximising independence and promoting self management to all our patients. You will be expected to take part in the triaging of MSK and orthopaedic referrals, and there is an expectation that the post holder will also take on the role of First Contact Physiotherapist with a Virtual First Approach. The successful applicant will be required to assess, treat, and manage a complex varied caseload to a highly specialist standard.
The successful applicant will be required to hold a degree / honours degree in physiotherapy or equivalent and have NHS experience within a similar role.
If you are an experienced MSK physiotherapist, who is able to work collaboratively, is keen to develop leadership skills and motivated to be a First Contact Physiotherapist, this could be the challenge for you.
In return for your enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment, we provide a supportive and fun working environment and access to further training and development opportunities. Flexible working and potential for development into this role could be possible.
A driving licence is essential and a pool car will be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
