**About us**

NMB Minebea UK Ltd., are part of the Rod End & Spherical, Fastener Business Unit, part of the mechanical components division of MinebeaMitsumi Inc. Rod end and Spherical bearings and components are manufactured here in Lincoln, with further manufacturing facilities in Japan and USA, and a sizeable support factory in Thailand. We have the capability to provide an engineering solution to all of our customer requirements.

**Job Summary**:
To be a flexible member of the cell covering various tasks such as Assembly/Adjust/Grinding/Turning of ABS product range.

**Main Responsibilities and Activities**:
Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are adhered to for self and others at all times.

Assembly/Adjust/Turning/Grinding of ABS product.

Ensuring processed parts conform to drawing.

Ensuring parts are processed in the allowed time.

Ensuring all documentation is accurate.

Supporting other team-members as required.

Achieving Production / Arrears / Quality / Efficiency targets as identified by Production Management.

**Desirable Skills**:
NVQ in Engineering manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship

Previous experience of working in an engineering environment

English Language and Maths to GCSE grade C or above

Computer Literate (ideally with a recognised qualification)

Experience in the use of standard measurement equipment

Can demonstrate good numeric skills

**Shift Pattern - 37 hours per week**:

- Day Shift _(No Premium) Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:00pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
- A Shift_ (No Premium) Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm & Friday 6am to 12:45pm
- B Shift _(20% Premium) Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm & Friday 12:35pm to 7pm
