Driver Mate

Responsibilities:

- Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods onto the delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with the driver and follow instructions
- Ensure that all items are securely packed and organized for transport
- Help navigate and plan routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Assist with the collection of payments, signatures, and other necessary paperwork
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a driver's mate or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management

Please note that this position does not require driving. The driver's mate will assist the driver in navigating, loading, and unloading goods during deliveries.

**Salary**: £10.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
