We are recutiing passionate and proactive LSAs for a special needs provision, based in the Hinckley, Shepshed and Leicestershire area, we require staff to support pupils aged between 5 to 16 years with a variety of special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), SEMH, behaviours that challenge, MLD, SLD and speech, language and communications needs. Staff are encouraged to help pupils build on their resilience, respect, confidence and to take responsibility for their work and behaviour, in order to reach their full potential.

The provision require confident, caring, empathetic and reliable teaching assistants or Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their support team. You will be required to provide general support and to work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, delivering the work set by the Teacher.

Engage and Support: Utilise a collaborative, multi-sensory, and holistic approach to maintain high learner engagement and deliver an innovative curriculum. Employ innovative engagement strategies to prioritise learners’ needs. Be effective at the management of health & safety, EDI, and safeguarding to ensure a safe environment.

Be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.

Job Title: Learning Support Assistants

**Salary**: £13,942 (Unqualified) - £15,370 per annum (Qualified)

Hours: Maximum of 30 hours per week (full time) Minimum of 18 hours per week (3 days min, part time) 8.45-3.15/30pm, Monday to Friday - term time only.

Weeks: 39 Working Weeks - Permanent part-time, and full-time.
