We're currently recruiting a dedicated Stores Person to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Universities on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

**Key Responsibilities**
1: Responsible for the control, issue and receipt of all food deliveries
2: Process orders via nominated systems and use the correct approved Compass vendors
3: Check invoices and delivery notes and report and anomalies to your line manager
4: Supervise the receipt, correct storage and quality of food supply and report and concerns and observations to your line manager
5: Oversee and monitor all stocktaking procedures, ensuring mínimal risk of waste by complying with the company's profit protection guidelines
6: Responsible for all unit transfers
7: Ensure all auditable paperwork is passed to the accounts department in a timely manner
8: Ensure correct disposal of all waste, adhering to all environmental and company policies
9: Responsible for maintaining storage areas relating to disposables, equipment and other stock
10: Responsible for an equipment breakdown log and reporting all broken equipment to nominated suppliers, following up where required
11: Form positive working relationships with colleagues
**Essential Qualities**:
- Computer literate and able to use web-based stock systems and Microsoft programs
- A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with colleagues
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- A positive attitude and committed to high levels of customer care
