We are now looking for a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer to support the team with income generation through Trusts and Foundations.

**About the Role**

Acorns is currently the UK’s largest children’s hospice charity, in terms of both numbers of children and families supported, and annual expenditure on our care work
- we need to raise more than £10 million each year to run and support our care services.

As Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer, you will work with the Fundraising Manager to support the rolling programme of trusts and foundations. You will research prospective funders to identify those with aims and interests similar to us.

You’ll provide regular reports and updates to supporters on the impact of their donations. You’ll report monthly activity to the Fundraising Manager and updating documentation and records on our CRM.

**About You**

You will have experience of fundraising and of online desk-based research. You’ll have good writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and by phone.

You’ll work with a few IT systems to manage administration and reporting so you’ll be highly IT literate, experienced in databases and spreadsheets and know how to keep yourself organised.
