Beauty Iqa

PURPOSE:

- Qts-Global Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Beauty Internal Quality Assurance Officer (IQA). The post holder will work within the beauty sector area and have responsibilities for the verification of learning and achievement and the validity of qualifications, they will work closely with the Academy Centre Manager to ensure compliance with Awarding Body criteria, contribute to quality assurance, focus on timely completions and ensure Standards are being met (The National Beauty Academy is located in Sunderland).

CONTEXT:

- This posts is located within the context of an organisational structure which has been developed to ensure high quality teaching, and excellent learning experience and a focus on work force development. The programme area will be target driven ensuring the fulfilment of ESFA, Professional (commercial) and workforce development targets as directed by the Executive Team.

KEY OUTPUTS:

- Contribution to assessment, moderation, standardisation and sampling activity;
- To work with the Academy Centre Manager to produce a project plan for learner progression and achievement, resulting in timely completions;
- To monitor the above and act accordingly to achieve targets;
- Contribute to the programme area quality improvement plan and quality assurance guidelines;
- Work with the team to service External Verification visits;
- Work closely with Customer Services to ensure a streamlined process for completions;
- Adhere to best practice in data protection;
- Maintain high standards in equality and diversity;
- Plan and control all required course delivery, inclusive of allocation of staff and resources to support such delivery across all areas of the business;
- Cover shortfalls in delivery by undertaking course delivery as required to fore fill the company client base needs;
- Ensuring delivery staff Assessor/Trainer files are updated and full awarding body compliance is maintained.
- Plan and deliver standardisation meetings in line with the current quality and management plan;
- Any additional task deemed reasonable in order to maintain the quality of the delivery to the company client base;
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Qualifications in Beauty Level 2 & 3, Also Qualifications in Nail Technology, Massage and Make-up Artistry or equivalent at Level 3 would be desirable.
- Two years vocational experience within the Beauty industry.
- A1,TAQA or equivalent
- V1,TAQA or equivalent
- Hold a teaching qualification;
- Experience in work based learning and blended delivery as an IQA
- Commitment to a learner centred approach;
- A commitment to creating cultures that embody positive change, continuous improvement, health and safety, safeguarding and equality;
- Communication skills both verbal and written;
- Planning, monitoring and reporting skills;
- Experience working with VTCT, ITEC or equivalent awarding bodies.

**Salary**: £27,000 -£30,000
