As Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a wide range of construction projects in the public sector. In this role it is your responsibility to ensure seamless coordination and communication from the Expression of Interest stage, straight through to contract award. Beyond this, you will monitor all projects up until completion, checking contractor performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure that the highest standards of delivery are upheld. You will be instrumental in collecting and sharing crucial project data, facilitating effective communication between clients and contractors, and upholding high standards of professionalism throughout all interactions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work across a diverse range of IT platforms and packages to collect, analyse, and share project data efficiently.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and contractors, serving as a central point of contact for all project-related inquiries.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors involved in live projects, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly reporting data are submitted punctually.
- Review KPI and monthly project reports meticulously to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Share KPI data internally and externally with clients and consultants to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Provide internal feedback on any project issues highlighted through reporting mechanisms, facilitating swift resolution and continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain directories for all live projects, ensuring easy access to essential project information for stakeholders.
- Communicate internally when projects reach specific "Project Status" milestones, keeping all relevant parties informed and aligned.
- Share any KPI and Social Value information internally as provided, contributing to our commitment to accountability and sustainability.
- Provide ongoing support to contractors and clients regarding reporting processes through our database system.
- Coordinate Soft Market Tests for new project opportunities with our Contracting partners and issue appropriate feedback and procurement advice to end-user clients.
- Assist end-user clients through the tender delivery to ensure a smooth process from the Expression of Interest stage to Contract award.
**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a project management or coordinator capacity.
- Undergraduate degree.
