Experienced Carpet Cutter Required South Wimbledon

We are a carpet and flooring company that make rugs, stair runners and floor runners. We work with all types of carpet, sisal, jute, seagrass, faux sisal, wool and polypropylene.

We are looking for someone to work part-time to start, we are flexible on what days you want to work Monday to Saturday. 8 hours and we are confident that we will be expanding these hours and the role over time.

The job is cut carpets from rolls into lengths for runners and rugs. You may currently be working as a carpet fitter and your skills will probably be transferable for this role.

**You must have experience in cutting all types of carpet, from sisal, seagrass and jute to wool, polypropylene and nylon, quickly and accurately.**

**You must be fit and strong to be able to move large carpets.**

The job is in our warehouse in **South Wimbledon, London**. Please, if you don't live locally this is not going to be worth your while in the short to medium term.

Some other responsibilities
- Wrap and pack the runners and stick postage labels on them
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as carpet cutter is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for printing labels is desirable
