Our client, a well established company who have been trading for nearly 100 years, are currently seeking a permanent **Loader Shovel Driver**, based in Tilbury.

Main responsibilities will be to:

- Ensure that lorries are loaded with the correct quantity and type of product
- Ensure the finished product is visually inspected prior to loading,
- Complete shift paperwork - recording the weights and product type loaded into the in-feed hopper, the weights of materials moved from any waste bays,
- Move processed material from the process bays to the correct storage bays or silos once it has passed the respective quality test
- Make sure that any processed materials moved from one bay to another or delivered to other depots are recorded using the bucket weigher and all totals are recorded and reported in the appropriate places.
- Ensure that all internal transport is checked and maintained correctly
- Ensure that all deliveries are checked and tipped in the correct area and in a safe manner, that all lorries taking finished product out are inspected and paperwork is checked prior to loading.

You will maintain a safe working environment, carry out daily inspections and complete reports on the condition of the loading shovel, FLT and sweeper and report any issues relating to the quality of incoming loads, such as contamination, to the relevant staff.
For this role, you will need to have a good knowledge of health and safety practices, hold a first aid certificate (preferable), hold a current loader driver licence, a current FLT licence is preferred but not essential and have the ability to manage multipleworkloads simultaneously and work well under pressure.
This role may include a variety of shifts working days, nights and weekends (maximum 12 hour shifts) depending on the clients needs.

Duties will include picking up recycling bins in all areas of East London but also supporting the shunting and sweeper sections when required. Average pick ups are 7 per day. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday with a start time of 5am finishing at 1:30pm...
