Relief Pharmacy Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, flexible relief driver based in the Ilkley area but willing to deliver for of any of our West Yorkshire pharmacies. You will be delivering prescription medication to patients care homes and other customers representing the company in a friendly, professional way.

The position is that of relief driver (zero hours) to cover absence, holidays etc so would suit someone happy to do ad hoc work as and when required

The main responsibilities of our drivers are:

- To provide courteous, effective customer service
- Follow delivery procedures in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures
- Use our pro-delivery manager delivery system to organise deliveries in a prompt efficient manner and maintain records as required
- Undertake any additional duties if required
- Collect prescriptions from GP's
- Adhere to company health & safety procedures
- Carry out necessary safety checks on company vehicles, keeping them clean & tidy at all times (if using company vehicle)

- Have a good knowledge of the Ilkley area
- Be flexible with working hours and be happy to cover weekends if required
- have a pleasant approachable manner with your colleagues and customers
- have the ability to use your own initiative and have a positive attitude
- be in possession of a clean valid UK driving licence

This position requires a DBS check
