Are you a Data developer looking for a switch to new permanent role in an Industry leading pharaceutical company? We are looking for a techincally skilled, socially adept Azure developer to assist in building and maintaining the high standards of Businessintelligence operations.

Hybrid working 1 day in the office (London Paddington office)

1 Stage Interview, smooth process

Role Expectations
- To monitor and maintain ETL processes to ensure the continuation of an accurate data reporting platform for the business
- To explore solutions for optimising the performance of the strategic data platform pipelines
- To always follow development design principles
- Help identify and implement the approach to data modelling our business processes in a manner that allows for agile implementation and improvement
- Technical implementation of process protocols, quality measures and outcome definitions that allow us to use our data as Real-World evidence
- Work with the analytics team to understand and build solutions that combine internal insight, patient outcomes and external data feeds - creating an opportunity to explore big data and machine learning algorithms

Skills and requirements
- Working SQL knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server 2005+) and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (T-SQL)
- Microsoft SQL server Integrated Services (SSIS) including ETL/ELTL design and development experience
- Microsoft DevOps or Microsoft Visual Studio Team System (2005+) source control software and development lifecycle software
- Developing and maintaining objects within OLAP Data Warehouses
- Metadata management / Data quality
- Microsoft Office 365
- Experience of working with Azure technologies including Data Lake gen 2, Data Factory, Synapse, Analysis Services, Power BI
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analytic skills related to working with structured datasets
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Including working with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels in the business
- Determined - able to drive a project forward even in the face of antipathy or potential barriers. A self-starter whilst comfortable working within a structured framework
- A good communicator. Able to promote ideas via the written word and verbally
- Empathic - a good listener who can envisage the problems and challenges faced by an individual in their job or a customer needing additional BI support
- Open to new ideas and ways of working and passionate about new technologies
- Hold the following qualification:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (Exam DP-203)
- Additional desirable qualifications:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (Exam AZ-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (Exam DP-900)
