**Nursery Admin**
**32 Hours Per Week**
The Ellingham House Day Nursery are looking for a Nursery Admin ,Working in partnership with the rest of the team within the nursery adhere to the policies and procedures of Family First and compliance with the Children Act, Health, and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and their welfare requirements, ensuring confidentiality is at the heart of everything required.
**Nursey Admin main responsibilities include**:
To work within the ethos of Family First and provide a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment, where children feel secure.
- To provide a strong, efficient administration support covering all aspects of the business for the Manager.
- Maintaining family and account records on the nursery management system.
- Create and review the monthly fee report, generating and distributing invoices. Collection of fees including the administration of childcare vouchers, tax free childcare payments, pursuing outstanding fees and resolving any account queries.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential staff, children, and parent’s records.
- Liaising with Support Office, sending reports as appropriate and approved by the Manager. - Work closely with the parent liaison team to ensure company processes and work flows are followed.
- Working with Local Authority systems, to ensure the timely and accurate completion of grants or funding where applicable.
- To understand and promote inclusion and equality policies and procedures
- Accurate, complete, and timely follow up of all enquiries and assist with the promotion of the nursery and the business to maximise occupancy and income.
- Welcoming families, children and visitors and addressing parent queries. Organising parent registration paperwork and sessions to ensure a smooth transition into the nursery.
- Working with the Manager to maintain and organise administrative records.
- Support the nursery in achieving targets set by the manager and Company.
- Ensuring all relevant documentation and records are up to date, accurate and reported by appropriate deadlines.
- General office duties, including keeping the office tidy.
- Be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility.
- To work flexible hours as requested by the Manager.
**Nursery Admin requirements and skills**:
- Experience of working with database management systems.Essential
- Experience of producing reports and working to deadline. Essential
- Experience of working in a school/ nursery environment. Knowledge and Skills-Desirable
Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
- Experience of record keeping, planning and report writing.
- Ability to present both written, visual, and verbal information.
- Knowledge of the local community/area demographics.
- Knowledge of online communication systems to include - Microsoft teams, zoom Personal Qualities

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
