**HOUSEKEEPER**
**Full-Time**
for quality Care Home in Lanarkshire with exceptionally high standards, offering care to elderly residents of varying dependencies. Experience in Care Home or Hotel setting preferred.
You will be responsible for the general smooth running of the Home, promoting ‘Best Practice’ in all matters relating to Residents Care and encouraging all staff in working towards this objective.
Duties as follows:
- Daily cleaning of all reception rooms, lounges, dining rooms, hallways etc. and hoovering same.
- Daily cleaning of bedrooms, en~suites, emptying bins, dusting and hoovering.
- Cleaning bathrooms shower rooms, toilets etc, including staff areas.
- Cleaning internal windows.
- Cleaning and disinfecting sluice rooms.
- Keeping the Nursing Home clean to a very high standard and any other duties, as required by Management.
- Safe storage of cleaning products as per COSHH requirements.
- Ensure sound knowledge of fire procedure, position of fire extinguishers and break glass points.
- Weekly laundry and domestic lists to be signed daily.
- To take pride in surroundings and report to Management any repairs required or accidental damage.
- Room completely cleaned, high and low level bedrooms windows cleaned.
- Carpets shampooed when necessary.
- Curtains washed when necessary.
- Assist in laundry, i.e., fold clothes, sheets, and towels.
- Be responsible for home cleanliness.
- Ordering in all cleaning supplies.
- Sorting out Staff Rota’s, and holiday requests.
- Supervision of Staff and reviewing Staff Rota’s.
- Organizing regular staff appraisals.
- Training of all new staff.
- Any other general duties required for the efficient running of the Nursing Home.
