We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Executive to join our team on a fixed term contract, based in our Redhill Office on a hybrid basis.
This role is responsible for the technical underwriting aspects of the product management function within the global Travel Business line.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
Support business development for AXA Partners in Europe for all travel products: from services to reinsurance.
Deliver offers and solutions that meet clients’ needs and that complies with local regulation, market practices and AXA Group governance/target profitability. Offers include product design and market analysis.
Support to build a culture of risk management in the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product
- Travel Business line Lead for product wordings and related literature.
- Build technical wordings in accordance with Travel Underwriting standards
- Maintain central catalogue of Travel benefits.
- Ensure products are designed and launched in line with the Group strategic objectives, risk appetite and capabilities
- Product support for new client on-boarding.
- Support Product oversight Governance
- Work closely with compliance to ensure that Terms and conditions are updated in line with regulatory changes and requirements.
- Drive standardisation of product, benefits and Terms & Conditions
- Establish relationships with Customer facing functions and shortening the feedback loop into technical wording improvements and U/W best practice.
- Build / report market insights (market trends, regulatory changes, competition)
- Manage data loaders across systems in accordance with the Travel catalogue of benefits
- Respond to claim referrals seeking Underwriting position on coverage

**Your Profile**
- Experience of operating within product governance structure
- Understanding of the compliance and regulatory landscape
- Strong collaboration / interpersonal skills, with excellent presentation skills
- Strong research skills and the ability to evaluate internal and external information
- A track record of delivering incremental product improvements

Person specification
- Confidence when dealing with a wide variety of people
- Good understanding of customer behaviour and is comfortable with providing insight to develop business performance.
- Market research analysis would also be a bonus.
- Ability to take responsibility and handle pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions
- Accurate and clear written skills
- Commercial awareness for work with corporate clients
- Excellent people skills and a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- High standard of ability in MS Office
- Self-motivated, able to plan and prioritise workload in order to achieve deadlines
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
