Textile Mender

Dormeuil Manufacturing currently have a permanent vacancy available for either a full time or part time Textile Mender.

The role is based in our on site mending department, previous mending experience is preferable although not essential as full training can be provided.

**Main Role & Responsibilities**
- Work on fine worsted pieces to identify any faults and the type of mend required.
- Resolve faults including knots, dropped ends and slack.
- Follow the workload priorities provided.
- Communicate effectively with the mending manager to raise issues or problems with pieces.
- Help with finished piece inspection if required (further training will be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 17.5 - 35 per week

**Salary**: £10.80 per hour

- Dewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
