Job Title: Administrator, **immediate start**

Location: Stockwell, London (Hybrid/remote not possible)

Terms: Full-time Contract, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch included

**Salary**: £25,000 - £35,000 pa depending on experience

About us:
Established in 1834, Hatfields Restoration is a Furniture Restoration workshop in South London. Our small team consists of master craftsmen with experience in polishing, carving, gilding and lacquer.

Although we pride ourselves in traditional techniques, our diverse approach brings in a variety of period and contemporary projects from antique dealers, interior designers, private clients and institutions.

About the role:

- Financial Processing: Previous experience with QuickBooks is essential. Job role involves generating and sending invoices to clients, processing supplier invoices for payment, logging timesheets, depositing cheques and monitoring reports.
- Computer Literacy: Daily use of Outlook, Word, Excel and in-house software.
- Communication: Able to keep open lines of dialogue not only with clients but also with workshop team, office colleagues, accountant, subcontractors, carriers, regular visitors and building services.
- Project Coordination: Keen awareness of diary, deliveries, project timelines, financial processing and the progression of pieces within the workshop. Able to balance many projects consecutively through effective note taking and communication. Assisting in the management and co-ordination of large restoration projects.
- Monitoring Building: Maintain the health & safety, fire plan and security of workshop. Ensure the overall appearance of the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Manual filing: Thorough and detail conscious approach to processing records of projects, finances and communications both virtually and manually.
- Knowledge of Sector: Experience and/or knowledge of antiques, restoration, public sector projects and running a workshop are advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in an administrative role (2-3 years minimum)
- Outstanding written and spoken communication and time management skills
- Tact and discretion, particularly for handling confidential information
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently and positively within a small team
- Strong technological literacy and competence in the use of Microsoft Office packages and QuickBooks
