Old Earth became an academy in 2011 whilst maintaining good relationships with the Calderdale LA. It enjoys strong links with its local community of primary and secondary schools and has very good relationships with parents and the wider local community.

Governors are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and highly motivated assistant caretaker to work within our hugely supportive team to maintain and develop our superb learning environment.

**About the School**:
The school employs a Premises Manager who is responsible for all security, caretaking, maintenance and cleaning. The Assistant Caretaker will work alongside them to maintain the school grounds, the outdoor learning environment, site security, building maintenance and hygiene during the school day and on some days outside term time.

The successful applicant will be expected to be supportive of the school’s aims and objectives and above all wants our learning environment to be the best it can be for our children and staff team.
