Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender for our upstairs bar to join our friendly team. As a Bartender at Ginny's, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service, ensuring the upstairs bar area is clean and well-stocked, and maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere for our patrons. We hire our upstairs bar out for private parties, so your role will be varied between a table service or walk up bar setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails according to our recipes or customer preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, providing change, and issuing receipts
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure the safety of customers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Cocktail Bartender or in a similar role is required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
