Are you a proactive and engaging individual who is able to build rapport and support vulnerable young people?
Do you have previous experience in a school setting supporting children with special educational needs?
**Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour?**
We are looking for Behaviour/Learning Mentors for a PRU setting in Hackney. It is a mixed provision for primary through to secondary year 11, the schools are in two different sits. The school are looking for confident and experienced Behaviour/Learning Mentors for both sites, supporting 1:1 and within small groups in the classrooms as well as working outside of the classroom.
**Behaviour/Learning Mentor**:
- Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
- Secondary/Primary Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
- A passion for working with SEND is essential

- Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
