**The Position**:
Ideally, we are looking for an Advanced Practitioner, experienced in all aspects of Musculoskeletal and General Ultrasound (to include abdominal, gynaecological, urinary tract, thyroid and testes.) However, if you have experience in some or most of these areas, we would still like to talk to you and help you realise your full potential.

You will be working with new “state of the art” Ultrasound equipment.

You’ll receive great support from an excellent team of Sonographers, assistants, consultants and administration staff.

Modern, user-friendly reporting software is provided.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hon in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent/degree/diploma
- Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) or Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Ultrasound
- MSK Ultrasound module or equivalent training
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered

Desirable qualities:

- Recognised Thyroid training
- Previous experience working within a Primary Care / Community setting.
- Experience of mentoring student Sonographers.
- A flexible approach to work.

Core Responsibilities and key accountabilities included but not limited to:

- Maintaining and promoting the highest professional, technical and ethical standards in Ultrasound, through effective clinical governance.
- To continually improve Ultrasound practice through professional and personal development.
- _Managerial Responsibility _- Support the Operations Manager, in ensuring that imaging practice standards are monitored and continuously updated. Maintain the highest possible quality of service.
- _Clinical Responsibility _- To provide a comprehensive and effective high-quality Ultrasound service.
- _Operational Responsibilities _- To liaise with our team, in order to ensure the highest quality of service to patients and clinicians. Work effectively with all disciplines of staff. Ensure all targets and quality standards are achieved.
