You will join a nation-wide construction company in the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor on a large scale project in the Elgin area. This is a permanent role, with a competitive salary package,
**Your new role**
In your new role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be the commercial lead on a new build construction project. Your role will involve financial reporting for the project, prepare financial forecasts and manage payments to subcontractors in line with workscompleted. You will monitor cash flow of the project and be manage the negotiations of any variations or contractual issues. Your role will also include managing relationships with third parties including subcontractors, clients and the internal operationsteam. You will work to deadlines and work to promote financial awareness across the project.
**What you'll need to succeed**
It is essential that you have previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role and are ready to take on the challenge of a Senior QS post. Ideally you will hold qualifications such as HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying. Contract knowledge in NEC/ JCT or ICEis also preferred. In your role you should show willing to nurture and develop junior commercial staff in the team.
