**The role**

**We are looking for a part-time cleaner to join our small but friendly and busy team**

**We are looking to appoint the Cleaner on part-time basis, working 4hrs per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 15:00 to 22:00. Totalling 20hrs per week.** There will be an occasional requirement to work additional hours and to cover sickness absence and annual leave. There are overtime opportunities however those aren't guaranteed. **The pay is £11.50ph, overtime is x 1.5 basic hourly rate (only when working over Full Time Equivalent of 40hrs).**

As our Cleaner, you will hold the responsibility for all basic cleaning regime in designated areas around the factory and office facilities. We are looking for people with a passion for high standards that thrive in busy environment. There might be occasional requirement to carry our outside cleaning work.

You will enjoy working in a team, however most of the time you will be expected to follow work instructions and carry out cleaning duties on your own. Therefore self-discipline and motivation is a must

Previous experience as Cleaner in previous settings is advantageous, however the company will provide you with all necessary training to do the job

**Key role responsibilities & requirements**:

- Pride and high attention to detail.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety & COSHH (training will be provided)
- Working safely at all times using the correct and appropriate PPE and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain rigid hygiene standards to minimise the spread of bacteria and germs.
- Maintain the general housekeeping, upkeep and cleanliness of the canteen, toilets, showers and offices in the Production and Warehousing areas. This entails mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning.
- Ensure that all consumables are replaced daily, or as required
- Cleaning restrooms: restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile doors, cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Dispose of waste and recycling at the end of each working day from outside of the building as and when required
- Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude.
- Excellent time management organisation and focus on ability to prioritise and multi task with clear ability to focus on detail.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organisation of assigned areas
- Stock control of cleaning equipment and supplies: Soaps, paper towels, hair nets, beard snoods, shoe covers
- Cover for holidays for the weekday Cleaner and Housekeeper as required

**This is a part-time role on permanent basis. 20hrs per week, between the hours of 15:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday. The pay is £11.50 per hour.**
