**What will you be doing?**
The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for planning, creating, and implementing company-wide communications that effectively convey vital messages to a 3,000+ strong workforce. A communicator of all things relating to co-member experience - benefits,inclusion & belonging, development, company updates, and company values - the Internal Communications Manager’s role is key to the company’s commitment to be a ‘great place to work’.
The Internal Communications Manager will work towards strict targets and guidelines in accordance with the programme’s requirements and Reed in Partnership’s policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Head of Marketing and Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to plan and deliver a company-wide internal communications strategy
- Coordinate Reed in Partnership’s internal communications calendar, including - but not limited to - producing staff bulletins and campaigns, promoting our inclusion and diversity work, showcasing company benefits, instilling our company values across ourworkforce, and sharing the company’s growth strategy
- Produce regular ‘mini strategies’ to communicate key internal initiatives and seasonal/milestone occasions
- Manage an Internal Communications Executive to help you achieve your objectives. This includes setting direction and providing support to help enable them to meet their company and developmental priorities.
- Ensure that all written internal communications are high quality, creative, and are written in accordance with Reed in Partnership’s style guide.
- Occasionally support the team with some wider communications activity, including stakeholder communications, where the need arises.

**Essential/ Desirable Criteria**
**Essential Attainments**:

- Experience of working in Communications at Manager level
- Experience of line management

**Essential Criteria**:

- Excellent communications skills, specifically written English for a range of different audiences
- A strong understanding of and passion for communications work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- A good sense of creativity and an ability and willingness to suggest new ideas and approaches
- Fully computer-literate, with a thorough working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media and website management

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Knowledge or experience of public services
- A good understanding of public services and the political landscape
- An understanding of and interest in national and local employment issues
