Vehicle Dismantler

We are an Authorised Treatment Facility for End Of Life Vehicles specialising in Mercedes Benz vehicles. We are looking for an experienced dismantler to join our team, we are a family run business and our valued employees are the key driving force to our business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Removing car parts from accident damaged vehicles for re-sale to the trade and public
- Carrying out quality control checks prior to removing the parts for customers
- Storing of parts, scrap and waste in line with legislation and company policy
- Compliance with manual handling guidelines
- Meeting agreed targets for removal of parts
- Ensuring machinery and equipment is safe and maintained in working order - preventative maintenance
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices ensuring area is always clean and tidy
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and health and safety policy and rules

**Requirements**:

- Must be health and safety conscious
- Able to work in a very fast paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- City & Guilds Automotive (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
