Hgv / Lgv Mechanic

HGV / LGV Mechanic / Fitter / Technician required for Nights. Working for an established company based near Nantwich. As a HGV / LGV Mechanic / Fitter / Technician you will ideally have 2 years previous experience. Volvo knowledge would be ideal but is notnecessary for the HGV / LGV Mechanic / Fitter / Technician role.

Full Job Description
Based near Nantwich for an established distribution company, working as part of a team looking after 120 vehicles and 250 trailers
Min 2 years HGV / LGV experience
Working 4 nights per week 1900 till 0700 Monday to Thursday
5 days Holidays per year

**Duties**:
To carry out routine safety inspections to vehicles and trailers to maintenance schedules
Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects
To accurately complete all maintenance and repair record sheets
To work in a professional and safe manner
To keep the work area safe, clean, and tidy
There may be a requirement to support the warehouse team with the repair to company engineering plant and equipment when required
Desirable:
Possession of a valid C + E licence would be an advantage.
Knowledge of Volvo vehicles would be a distinct advantage but not essential
Mechanical qualifications preferred but not essential
