YO Bakehouse is an artisan bakery based in Norton, Malton, and looks to serve a wholesale bakery market covering much of North Yorkshire and beyond

In 2022, YO Bakehouse joined forces with Derventio bakery, a well-established bakery with equal success. This collaboration looks to bring improved efficiencies and offers greater customer value, whilst retaining the high level of service expected by both original entities.

This role is for a relief a driver to help us cover other driver holidays and do extra runs over the busy periods. However, over opportunities may arise resulting in a permanant position / Route.

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

**'''Skills:'''**
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a long wheel-based van.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience as a Delivery Driver or Warehouse Worker is a plus
