We are looking for people to join our talent pool for future elections

Poll Clerks assist the Presiding Officer with the running of the election at a polling station.

You will issue ballot papers to voters, checking that electors are eligible to vote. Good customer service skills are essential.

Impartiality is also a key skill needed for this role, as you’ll have to remain politically neutral whilst adhering to high levels of secrecy.

**A few things to note**:

- You’ll need to be able to undertake the manual lifting duties of the task.
- Training will be provided.

Next election: General Election

Hours: 06:15am to 10:15pm on 4th July 2024

Payment: £273.01 (including training, travel and subsistence)
