Our Maternity Services Digital Team are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual with IT related experience to join the team as a 12 month secondment opportunity/fixed term post.

You will assist in project process mapping sessions, create process maps and other project documentation. You will have good communication and working relationships with all Maternity Services colleague and users within the Trust.

The role of the Maternity Digital Support Assistant will be to provide high quality administration, configuration, and maintenance of the EPR system within LTHTR ensuring the delivery of the high-quality care.

You will assist in the production and delivery of eLearning, training videos and end user training for EPR service users and colleague.

You will assist with delivery of specific project work packages, creating and deploying an extensive range of software configuration for EPRs and clinical systems.

You will be expected to participate in floor walking when deploying new configuration in EPR Systems within Maternity and support the colleague within all clinical areas.

You will support the Maternity Digital Team with any EPR maternity system/IT updates encouraging a proactive approach to all activities within your own role and that of colleagues.

You will support in assisting and ensuring policies and processes are consistently maintained across the department and support general programme admin requirements and ensure data quality within the maternity EPR is maintained to a high standard.

**Duties to include, but not be limited to**:
Provide support to the maternity service as part of the Maternity Digital team to effectively use the relevant digital systems.

To provide support, maintenance, and configuration for EPR and clinical systems, including new accounts, access levels, letters, templates, and caseload configuration.

To work closely with the multidisciplinary and maternity management team in evaluating aspects of patient care including systems, processes, and outcomes.

Arrangement and participation in meetings, providing administrative support including with external suppliers.

Assist with monitoring system performance and initiate action to resolve any problems including raising/tracking and managing orders/questions and issues.

Set up and manage user access by ensuring correct user accounts and passwords are available at the time of training and that these accounts are managed when colleague move jobs or leave, in line with local policies and procedures.

Assist and/or lead in training colleague of all levels and in liaison with the IT training department.

Support clinical and administrative colleague across the maternity service and Trust to ensure standardisation of data entry.

Assist in development, and stay up to date, with any standard operating procedure documents that link with the EPR system.

Assist in the design of test plans and coordinate additional phases to the development of the system.

Maintain data quality by working with users of the system and ensure that the correct data fields are completed to meet local and national reporting requirements.

Data quality improvement of EPR, report monitoring. Supporting the resolution process by developing communications and escalating identified issues. To support the EPR programme to implement new ways of working and demonstrate a growth mind-set to enhance the change management process.

Participate in audit processes.

Good communication and working relationships with all Maternity Services colleague and users within the Trust.

Present information to relevant Boards/meetings when required.

Creation and deployment of new eLearning and training videos for a range of systems.

Facilitate end user training, using a range of methods including in the classroom and 1-1.
