Based in Torquay, Torbay, South Devon, we supply Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) equipment to the retail and hospitality trade. We install and maintain software and hardware in a wide range of locations including bars, clubs, pubs, hotels, restaurants and the retail environment. From touch screen tills to app-enabled online ordering, digital signage to self-service kiosks, we offer everything businesses could need to deliver an unbeatable customer experience.

We have a rare opportunity for the right person to join our office as an Office Support Assistant. This is an exciting time for BCG EPOS as the business is growing and branching out into new areas. We work in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same and we are looking for someone to be on the front line of the action.

**Job Description / Person Specification**

**Post-specific requirements**:

- A good standard of literacy and numeracy indicated by English and Maths GCSE at Grade C (or equivalent qualification)
- Desirable - To have experience of working in an ICT heavy environment
- A full UK Driving license
- Problem solving abilities and a willingness to learn from your own experience and of others

**Job purpose**:

- Stock management - keep a comprehensive log of stock on in-house data system; order stock and supplies; ensure that adequate levels of stock are maintained at all times; assign stock to orders
- Office support - answer the telephone and deal with customer queries and orders; serve customers entering the showroom and either process order or handover to sales person / technician
- Order processing - log all orders on in-house data system; take orders; create invoices; package orders; arrange courier / delivery; arrange delivery with the customer; take payment where necessary; where applicable complete support contract
- EPOS Repair processing - receive and log the full process of the repairs; arrange for repair with supplier or in-house technician; process repair and quote customer based on cost; arrange courier for repair if necessary; once returned, test the repaired item; ensure payment is received from customer; process repaired item to be returned to customer; arrange with customer for the repaired item to be returned.
- MAG Card printing - set up new cards; print cards; ensure adequate supply levels are maintained
- Deliveries - deliver supplies (till rolls, ribbons etc) to customers; drive the company van for deliveries; log delivery on the in-house data system

Part-time hours: 27 - 38 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
