Interim Accounting

**Treasury **andAccounting**Senior Specialist - Permanent - Slough - £175-200 per day (inside IR35) - 3-6 months+**

This is a dual-function interim role requiring solid core accounting skills. Experience as an Accounting Analyst or Treasury Analyst; GL Accountant, Assistant Accountant or Accounts Assistant will serve well here.

The role will manage the balance sheet and assist with month, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities, coupled with Treasury responsibility for daily cash management, liaising with banking partners, Group cash and liquidity management, and cash forecastingand planning.

In a continuous improvement environment, this is a role that will appeal to a part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or AMCT accountant, with a desire to improve processes with a keen eye for detail and advanced Excel.

**Accountabilities**:

- The primary treasury responsibility is to ensure liquidity to the business on a daily basis in order to maintain its business volumes and financial commitments to partners, suppliers, etc,.
- Ensure that all daily operational cash management is executed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with internal and external requirements.
- Continually drive process improvement regarding all aspects of the Treasury and Accounting function considering all business lines.
- Liaise with and act as a point of reference for internal and external auditors as required.
- Plan for the business’ cash flow requirements (including cash flow forecasts to the central treasury team) on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain good working relationships at a local level with the counterparties at the banks, financial institutions, etc.
- Ensures that timely and accurate Group and local reporting is completed
- Maintain, monitor and continually develop a strong internal control mechanism (coherent with the group internal risk policies) regarding the authorisation levels and limits for all banking related activities.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required; other duties as required.
