Receptionist/clerical Officer

An opportunity has arisen to join the Business Support Team within Girvan Community Hospital on a temporary basis for one year.

We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to provide a comprehensive, confidential Reception, Administrative and Health Records service to Nursing, Medical and Senior Locality Co-ordinator based within Girvan Community Hospital. You should be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. SVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology and health records experience is desirable. You must be flexible and have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential. You should be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and clinicians.

The post is 37.5 hours per week working Monday - Friday.
