Qualified Butcher

BUTCHER - FULL TIME/PART-TIME Fully experienced butcher/shopman.

We are looking for a fully experienced butcher, preferably with shop experience that has been in the trade for at least two years. With a keen eye for detail and an excellent hardworking ethic.

C H Wakeling Ltd. has been established since 1952. We are a traditional village butchers, with locally sourced produce. We are looking for an experienced butcher/shopman to help improve the business in all areas. We work to a very high standard and continue to butcher full carcasses.

**Main jobs will include**:
Putting on an attractive fresh meat display, including cheese and delicatessen.

Serving customers and taking orders in person and on the phone.

Help breaking down full carcasses (beef/pork/lamb/venison) and preparing ready for display.

Preparing orders for customers.

In-house sausage making.

Must be able to work as a team and complete individual tasks.

Tidy and efficient working is always essential.

**Also desirable**:
A wide range of experience with making pre-made meals ready for the oven.

Good spoken and written English

A good understanding of HACCP.
