We aspire to offer exceptional care to our 11,400 patients and are innovative in our approach to developing new teams and pathways to ever improve how general practice is delivered. We have a friendly and supportive team of more than 40 staff, with 5 GP's, Clinical Pharmacist, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Support Workers and our range of administrative staff. We have a great social side to our team with Christmas parties, WhatsApp group as well as many other events throughout the year.

We are seeking an experienced Phletbotomist on Temporary contract for three months to provide excellent customer service and project professional image for the surgery. To provide accurate, efficient and punctual medical administration support to Partners, GP's, Registrars and Practice Nurses on a permanent basis.**Responsibilities**:_

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist on Temporary contract to provide excellent customer service and project professional image for the surgery. To provide accurate, efficient and punctual medical administration support to Partners, GP's, Registrars and Practice Nurses on a permanent basis.
- Registering the blood and storing it in the correct environment
- Sending blood samples to testing laboratories
- Keeping track of blood samples and results that are returned after testing
- Updating patient records
- Maintaining an organised and clean work area based on health and safety regulations and the guidelines of the medical institution
- Answering patient questions regarding collection techniques and offering additional resources on the collection process, if the patient requests them
- Explaining the process of drawing blood clearly to a patient

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
