**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cash management_
- Input cash, cheque and credit card batch receipts to the database and the finance software.
- Identify bank receipts on a daily basis and input to the database and the finance software.
- Maintain a list of unidentified BACS items and review with the Finance Manager each month.
- Allocate receipts to outstanding invoices.
- Maintain all necessary records and information in a secure and accurate manner to ensure that there is full information about transactions.
- File documentation as appropriate.
- Perform bank reconciliations for all the bank accounts.
- Assist in month end duties.
- Credit Control_
- Work closely with the Finance Manger on the aged debtors’ analysis and raise appropriate credit notes/invoices to clear any balances.
- Investigate and resolve queries relating to unpaid invoices.
- Supplier Invoices_
- Process all supplier invoices received, entering them into Invoice Log, sending to relevant manager for approval and entering on to Sage 200 system.
- General support and special projects_
- Attend IRM events, as required.
- Support the Finance Executive and provide cover for other members of the finance team, as required.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the Financial Controller.
- Undertake any other task as reasonably directed by IRM.

**Knowledge and skills**:
The post holder must have previous experience of working in finance (ideally actively studying towards AAT). Support may be provided to enable the post holder to complete the studies. Applicant must:

- Be proficient in the use of financial software packages, customer relationship management databases and Office (the post holder must be particularly skilled in the use of Excel)
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Have excellent organisational and time management skills and be able to prioritise effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,996.00-£29,000.00 per year
