Technical Specialist

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Life Sciences company in their search for **a Technical Specialist** to work in their facility based in Hawarden.

**For the successful Technical Specialist our client is offering**:
- £28,000-33,000 per annum
- Permanent contract
- 8:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday
- 25 days + bank holiday annual leave (rising to 30)
- Clear salary progression scheme based on performance
- Paid for professional body memberships (RSC/B)
**The role - Technical Specialist**:
- Develop and validate new quality procedures
- Initiate and draft technical training procedures for new staff
- Evaluate, install and validate new instruments
- Review and write analytical methods to aid continuous improvement
- Investigate atypical results and quality system failures
- Organise non-routine analytical work and solve technical problems

**What our client is looking for in a Technical Specialist**:

- Working knowledge of complex lab processes (GC & LC) - **ESSENTIAL**:

- Significant lab experience in the environmental industry - **PREFERRED**
