Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator at our Ingliston Centre ( Right next to the Royal Highland show and Edinburgh airport), you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children during their crucial early years of development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Support children with personal care tasks, such as toileting and dressing
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and resolve conflicts
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

**Skills**:

- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to drive the learning process through engaging activities
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years old
- Leadership skills to guide and inspire fellow educators
