We are looking for a talented communications professional to help deliver the work we’re doing to change and improve Staffordshire’s Adult Social Care services
The communications work for this role will include public facing campaigns, staff and stakeholder engagement, liaison with the media team, digital content production and copywriting.
Key Accountabilities:
- Developing and delivering communications campaigns and content that supports the client’s priorities.
- Focused communications activity on Adult Social Care work.
- Working as part of the communications team, and if appropriate, with external agencies, on the delivery of the client’s communications plan.
- Working as part of the project team who are focused on Adult Social Care.
- Creating and delivering consistently high-quality communications materials including (but not limited to): digital content, copywriting, proof-reading, liaising with print provider, working with graphic designer.
- Working in partnership with the media team and social media manager to ensure coordinated activity across all channels.
You MUST have the following:
- At least two years’ experience working in communications, internal communications, or related role.
- Substantial experience of designing, creating, and delivering communications content for a range of channels.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering successful engagement activity.
- Demonstrable experience of research-based communications and using a range of evaluation techniques.
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder engagement in relation to communications planning and delivery.
- Experience of internal communications and engagement strategic planning.
- A good understanding of current social media and digital analytical tools.
- Event planning and delivery experience.
Skills required:
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to use a range of different styles to suit the needs of different audiences.
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and quickly.
- Skilled in analysing and interpreting data and information, and reporting this to a range of audiences.
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and manage conflicting demands and pressures.
